Make It With You
BILLY is not your typical Filipino worker in Croatia. She’s living in a small mobile home along with eight other foreign workers as she juggles different kinds of jobs to be able to send money home and also help out her fellow Filipinos there in Dubrovnik.
In one of her side-hustle, Billy stumbles upon GABO—another seemingly soul lost in the Croatian borders. She can’t imagine how a naïve-looking guy like him could endure the life every OFW has to go through to survive, but she cannot shake Gabo as he doesn’t want to go back to the Philippines. She can see his determination to do all he can to be able to stay.
An opportunity for an extra income arrives when Antonia, a Croatian socialite, asks Billy to match her with Gabo. He must be trained to become a man of great respect that a Croatian girl would love—so Antonia can introduce him to her father. Gabo doesn’t believe in matchmaking, but eventually agrees to do it when he realizes Billy is doing it to help out everyone, including him.
Everything seems perfect—until Antonia does something to trigger for Gabo to run away and go back to the Philippines. No goodbyes, no words.
Will their unfinished love story end up with them tearing each other down? Or will it cause the breaking of cracks of their hearts only to finally spill the love they’ve been holding back for one another?
