"Chasing Flavors" explores the nooks and crannies of the Filipino street food scene in various places across the country. First off, Chef Claude Tayag visits Pateros and shows the traditional balut-making. Chef Claude then heads to Angeles City, Pampanga and UP Diliman campus, Quezon City to sample their popular street foods and talk with the people behind them. Also, Chef Claude savors the authentic Bacolod chicken inasal and learns about the modern Binondo-style lumpia. Lastly, Chef Claude prepares "Dynamite Squid," his reinvention of the classic grilled squid dish.

    The well-known Kapampangan chef, Chef Claude Tayag, will probe the origins of Filipino’s iconic dishes from region to region, one dish at a time, and will attempt to answer what makes each dish unique and outstanding in its own right.
