In this episode of "Food Prints," Chef Sandy Daza embarks on a culinary adventure in Yangon, Myanmar, starting off with a breakfast tour at Yatha Tea House, King Tea Shop, and Jupiter restaurant. Diving deep into the eclectic Burmese cuisine, Sandy then indulges in traditional Shan food at Shan Yoe Yar restaurant and goes on a two-hour street food crawl along Mahar Bandula Park. Known as the Land of Golden Pagodas, Sandy also visits Shwedagon Pagoda, the country's grandest landmark. Sandy takes a break from the local food scene as he makes one last delicious food stop at Gekko, a Japanese restaurant bursting with old-world charm that is frequented by expats, to sample its best-tasting dishes and fine collection of spirits.
