ABS-CBN correspondent Jing Castaneda has been a Kapamilya for more than 10 years. A member of the ABS-CBN Integrated News and Current Affairs team since 2001, Jing Castaneda has anchored various Kapamilya programs such as the morning show, "Umagang Kay Ganda," "Salamat Dok," which is known as the longest-running health-oriented show that truly caters for the Filipino audience, and "Open House,” a home-improvement lifestyle program that gears toward Filipino families who want to transform their houses into truly beautiful homes. Jing Castaneda's broadcast journalism career is also not just limited to television alone, as she is also immersed in radio broadcasting. At present, she helms two programs under DZMM: "Turo-Turo" and "Kapamilya Konek." In 2014, Jing Castaneda, , along with her fellow UKG anchors, Anthony Taberna, Ariel Ureta, Atom Araullo, Winnie Cordero and Zen Hernandez, received the "Best Morning Show Host" at the 28th PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) Star Awards for TV Best Morning Show Host/Hosts.
Jing Castaneda graduated with honors from Ateneo de Manila University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration. She also has a post-graduate degree from New York University, where she took up subjects in Broadcasting.
