Andi Eigenmann had big shoes to fill as the daughter of Jaclyn Jose and Mark Gil, who are both highly respected icons in the local acting industry, but she was able to let her own star shine by taking on roles that fit her acting abilities.
She initially joined television as a support cast in Prinsesa ng Banyera, but was immediately given her own big break as the twin lead in the soap opera Agua Bendita. She then starred on her own eight-episode series of the youth-oriented drama anthology, Your Song and played alongside primetime favorites Maja Salvador and Coco Martin in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin and Jake Cuenca, Iza Calzado and Gabby Concepcion in Kahit Puso’y Masugatan before bagging another title role in Galema: Anak ni Zuma and the lead antagonist in Dyesebel.
She has also appeared in the hit horror films Shake Rattle & Roll XII, Pridyider and Tragic Theater; the blockbuster comedy Mamarazzi; the romantic dramas A Secret Affair and When the Love is Gone; the romantic comedy Your Place or Mine?; and Ma’Rosa, for which her mom won as Best Actress at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
Andi is currently back in television as one of the leads in the soap opera The Greatest Love, which gives light to the the complications of Alzheimers disease.
