Sarah Geronimo first made waves in the music scene after winning in the television singing competition Star For A Night in 2003. Her debut album Popstar: A Dream Come True was an instant commercial hit and a critical success, earning her two citations from Awit Awards. She has since received nine more awards from Awit, including Best R&B Recording for the single Ikot-Ikot in 2013 and Album of the Year for Perfectly Imperfect in 2015. She has also been cited as the Best Selling Filipino Artist at the 22nd World Music Awards, and Best Asian Artist at the Mnet Asian Awards. She has also made stellar success as a movie actress, topbilling the romcom hits A Very Special Love, You Changed My Life and It Takes a Man and a Woman, which all made it to the list of the highest-grossing films in Philippine cinema and earned her three Box-Officce Queen titles from the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards. She was also cited as one of the six Iconic Movie Queens of Philippine Cinema by FAMAS in 2015. Sarah has also succesfully showcased her versatility as an entertainer through several television projects under ABS-CBN. This includes remarkable performances in the drama series Bituing Walang Ningning, Pangarap Na Bituin and 1DOL,and in her own variety show Sarah G. Live!. She also sat as one of the coaches in the first and second seasons of The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids, and is currently seen as a regular host and performer in the long-running Sunday afternoon variety show ASAP.
