Maria Carmina Muñiz Villaroel gained popularity in the '80s for a television commercial of a well-known fast food chain. Her charm and mestiza beauty immediately caught the eye of major film producers. At a young age, she began starring in drama, comedy and horror films after signing with one of the biggest movie outfits in the Philippines. She later on started acting for television and joined ABS-CBN's popular sitcom in the '90s, Palibhasa Lalaki. After 8 years of separation, Carmina reunites with ABS-CBN in 2012 where she continues to make a name for herself as a talk show host. Carmina is also a devoted mother to her twins, Cassandra and Maverick, with partner Zoren Legaspi.
