At a young age of 14, Bea Alonzo made every telesrye fan believe she was mature enough to play a lawyer in her first television series, Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay. Her convincing performance and well-received initial team up with John Lloyd Cruz in the hit soap led to a long list of succesful teleserye stints for the actress, which ultimately branded her as the “Queen of Primetime Bida”.
She has since paired up with John Lloyd in six hit teleserye, which includes It Might Be You, Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, Maging Sino Ka Man, Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik, I Love Betty La Fea and A Beautiful Affair. Outside their popular tandem, Bea also made a mark on her own with Magkaribal, Guns and Roses and Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon.
Her succesful tandem with John Lloyd has also led to a number of box office hits including My First Romance, Now That I Have You, Close To You, All About Love, One More Chance, Miss You Like Crazy, The Mistress, and A Second Chance. But her equally sucessful tandems with other showbiz hearthrobs like Piolo Pascual for Dreamboy, Derek Ramsey and Sam Milby for And I Love You So, Dingdong Dantes for She’s The One, Zanjoe Marudo for 24/7 in Love, Richard Gomez for The Love Affair and Gerald Anderson for How To Be Yours along with the blockbuster turn outs of her own stints in Pacquiao:The Movie, Sa ‘Yo Lamang , Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak, and Four Sisters And A Wedding concretely sealed Bea’s status as “This Generation’s Movie Queen”.
Bea also showcased her versatility as a performer with the release of her debut album, The Real Me, under Star Records in 2008.
