Robin Padilla, most popularly tagged as the Bad Boy of Philippine Movies, became both a matinee idol and a cultural icon in the 90s. He headlined many of the decade’s action blockbusters such as Anak Ni Baby Ama, Grease Gun Gang and Bad Boy and made widely received action romances and romantic comedies with the era’s leading actresses.
He partnered with Megastar Sharon Cuneta in the phenomenal hit Maging Sino Ka Man and Pagdating ng Panahon, Vina Morales in Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum and Di Na Natuto, Regine Velasquez in Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw and Till I Met You, Pops Fernandez in Videoke King, and Judy Ann Santos in Jeannie, Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang? and the television series Basta’t Kasama Kita.
He was also able to showcase his funny antics in his television sitcoms Pwedeng Puwede and Toda Max as well as his hosting skills in Wowowee, Pilipinas Win na Win and Game ng Bayan. He has also recently joined the esteemed panel of judges in the talent competition Pilipinas Got Talent.
Robin has won top acting awards for portraying the lead role in the television series Carlo J. Caparas’ Joaquin Bordado and the films La Visa Loca and 10,000 Hours.
