John Prats

John Prats first charmed the Filipino viewers with his antics as one of the talented cast of the youth-oriented show Ang TV. As a teen, he continued to endear himself to the public with his regular appearances in ASAP; his hosting stints in Kaybol and Cyberkada; and his pretty-boy appeal in the series Berks and G-Mik, for which his pairing with actress Heart Evangelista was awarded the Most Popular Loveteam of RP Movies at the 33rd GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards. The pair was also featured in the movies Ang Tanging Ina and My First Romance. He joined and came out as one of the Big Four in the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition. This opened new doors in his career, which eventually led to major roles in the soaps Bituing Walang Ningning, Crazy for You, Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Bud Brothers and Angelito:Ang Bagong Yugto; the sit-coms Aalog-Alog and Pare Koy; the gag show Banana Split (now renamed Banana Sundae); hosting stints in Studio 23, TFC Connect, Happy Yippe Yehey, and Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 and All-In; and a lead role in his own komiks serye Tiny Tony. He also appeared in the movies Batang X, Trip, Jologs, Mano Po III: My, Love, D’ Anothers, Super Noypi, Shake, Rattle & Roll IX and Loving You. His versatility as an entertainer has also opened opportunities for a recording career. John’s studio album with his former band JCS (which stood for the initials of its member John Pratts, Carlo Aquino and Stefano Mori) was a certified gold hit. He was also part of the very succesful release of the dance albums ASAP Ultimate Dance 4, ASAP Supahdance, and ASAP Supahdance 2. John currently appears as SPO2 Jerome Girona, Jr. in the highly popular primetime action-drama FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
