Sid is currently one of the industry’s most critically acclaimed young actors. His portayal of a married man who has shared sexual relations with his jail mate in the field Selda has won him Best Actor awards in the Gawad Urian and Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece. Sid came from one of the most established family of actors in Philippine show business. He is the grand son of singer-actor Eddie Mesa and veteran actress Rosemarie Gil, nephew of high caliber thespians Michael de Mesa and Cherie Gil, brother of actors Gabbie, Max and Andi Eigennmann, and cousin of Ryan and Geoff Eigenmann.
