FEU Tamaraws

BIRTHDAY
11 Wins - 03 Losses

FEU Tamaraws

There has been a quiet momentum building amongst the Tamaraws in recent years. Nearly a decade since their last championship, the FEU squad has been flying under the competition's radar until last year when they shocked the crowd as they faced off with the NU BUlldogs for the finals. And while the Tamaraws failed to take victory that day, they proved to the crowd that they have what it takes to take the game all the way. Last year, their journey was halted a single step from ultimate victory. Will they finally take it season?| Coach Nash Racela has been hammering it into the heads of his team that they have what it takes to win. This season, acceptance seems to have set in as they are considered by and large to be bonafide contenders for UAAP 78 champions. While other teams were hit hard by the loss of some of their critical player, the Tamaraws have managed to remain largely intact. While the loss of Carl Bryan Cruz and Anthony Hargrove will hit the team's performance, the Tamaraw's core of veterans - Mike Tolomia, Mac Belo, Roger Pogoy, Russel Escoto - will be plaing at full force this season. Shoring up their ranks are notable new recruits such as Prinze Orizu and Monbert Arong who have more than proven that they are capable players in their respective regional high school basketball circuits.| It is amazing to see the Tamaraws charging in this season revitalized compared to their competition. This is the face of a team that has long been denied victory but refuses to wait another year before they can taste its sweetness. The Tamaraws are entering this season as a real force to be reckoned with.|
