Joining competitions has proven highly beneficial for Zanjoe Marudo, who was able to enter the world of modeling by winning the first runner-up title in Body Shots and the world of show business by making it to the Big Four in the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition.
He was initially cast for roles in comedies such as Aalog-Alog, Banana Split and Pare Koy and fantasy series like Super Inggo, Kokey, Dyosa and Varga. But it did not take long before he was tapped to play more serious and daring characters for the television dramas The Wedding; Florinda; Lovers in Paris; the Precious Hearts Romances series Love Is Only In The Movies, Kristine, and Hiyas; Annaliza, Dream Dad and Tubig at Langis.
Zanjoe has also played major roles in the big screen, playing leading man to Toni Gonzaga in You Got Me and Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi and as one of Eugene Domingo’s love interests in Kimmy Dora: Kambal sa Kiyeme, Kimmy Dora the Temple of Kiyeme and Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel. He has also shared top billing with Vice Ganda in Bromance: My Brother’s Romance, Pokwang in My Illegal Wife and the ensemble of Shake Rattle & Roll 13, One More Try, Maria Leonora Teresa and Death March.
