Billy Crawford

Billy Crawford has made a good life in the field of entertainment since a talent scout spotted him singing at a bowling alley when he was 3 years old. He became the youngest member of a legendary youth variety show and made several films before he moved to the United States and Europe. He remained active in the field of music and dance, and even performed as one of Michael Jackson’s back up dancers at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards. His debut album, self-titled Billy Crawford, went straight to the charts both in the Philippines and Europe. His single Trackin, from the album Ride, reached platinum status and conquered the top of the charts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany. He also contributed a remix of the Pokemon theme song for Pokemon: the First Movie, before returning to the Philippines in 2008. Billy joined ABS-CBN, where he became one of the regular hosts in the long-running variety show ASAP and the second season of the musical talent show Pinoy Dream Academy . He returned to acting alongside Nikki Gil in Your Song Presents and starred in the films Moron 5 and The Crying Lady, Momzillas, and Moron 5.2: The Transformation. But Billy’s natural knack for presenting led him to more hosting jobs for the network. He joined Luis Manzano in co-hosting Pilipinas Got Talent, for which he won Best Talent Program Host at the 24th PMPC Star Awards for TV, became a regular host in the noontime program Showtime, and got tapped to become the lead host of Panahon Ko ‘To: Ang Game Show ng Buhay Ko, Your Face Sounds Familiar, Celebrity Playtime and, currently, Pinoy Boyband Superstar.
