Aiza Seguerra first captured the hearts of the masses wth his funny antics, as a child star who entered show business after winning a kiddie competition in a popular noontime show. He made more than 30 movies as a child actress, including the blockbuster comedy flicks Wake Up Little Susie, Super Inday and The Golden Bibe, Petrang Kabayo at Ang Pilyang Kuting, Me and Ninja Liit and the movie version of her hit television series Okay Ka, Fairy Ko.
He reinvented himself as a musical artist in his teens, initiating his showbiz comeback with the release of the song Pagdating ng Panahon. His comeback move came with a streak of good fortune, which includes winning multiple recording awards for his first single, the Asian TV Awards Best Performance by an Actress for her portrayal in Maalaala Mo Kaya’s Songbook episode, the 2 million pesos jackpot price in the celebrity game show The Singing Bee, and the first place in the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs contest with Jovinor Tan’s Anong Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa.
Aiza signed up with Star Records, which produced his albums Para Lang Sa ‘Yo, Open Arms, Aiza Seguerra: Live and Perhaps Love . He eventually became part of the ASAP Sessionistas and tapped to be a resident juror for Pinoy Dream Academy: Little Dreamers, a member of the council for the Star Circle Kid Quest: Search for the Kiddie Idol, a resident judge for Twist & Shout, and one of the main casts of the phenomenal hit series Be Careful with My Heart.
He came out as a lesbian in 2007 and eventually identified himself as a transgender man. He now holds the seat as Chairperson of the National Youth Commission.
