Known as Philippine show business’ one and only Megastar, Sharon Cuneta has starred in a total of 53 films since her debut movie Dear Heart with former husband Gabby Concepcion. Together, they’ve made several blockbuster hits including P.S. I Love You, My Only Love, Sa Hirap at Ginhawa, Una Kang Naging Akin and Tayong Dalawa. She also made several hits with her generation’s beloved heartthrobs such as William Martinez in Forgive and Forget, Rowell Santiago in Friends in Love, and Richard Gomez in Ngayon at Kailanman, Kapantay ay Langit and Minsan Minahal Kita; made blockbuster collaborations with the biggest action stars in Philippine cinema including Fernando Poe, Jr. in Kahit Konting Pagtingin, Bong Revilla in Pangako Sa ‘Yo, Rudy Fernadez in Kung Kailangan Mo Ako and Robin Padilla in Maging Sino Ka Man; and tandemed with singers Gary Valenciano for Kaputol ng Isang Awit, Ariel Rivera for Ikaw and Andrew E. for Megamol. She was honored with the Box Office Queen title for the films Bukas Luluhod ang Mga Tala, Bituing Walang Ningning, Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas, Jack n’ Jill, Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita, Maging Sino Ka Man, Pangako Sa’ Yo, Kung Kailangan Mo Ako and Madrasta as well as Best Actress awards for Dapat ka Bang Mahalin?, Madrasta and Caregiver. Sharon made her first appearance as a contract talent of ABS-CBN in the variety program The Sharon Cuneta Show in 1988. This was later followed by Sharon, Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Superstar, Sharon at Home and The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition. She currently sits as a member of the jury for the celebrity impersonation competition Your Face Sounds Familiar and is one of the esteemed coaches for The Voice Kids. Apart from a stellar movie and television career, Sharon has also made a remarkable career as a singer having made 40 albums and multiple singles since her first solo recording Tawag ng Pag-Ibig and hit single Mr. DJ in the late 70s. Sharon is married to Philippine senator Francis Pangilinan and is mother to actress and singer KC Concepcion.
