The public first caught sight of Enchong Dee as a guest in Boy Abunda’s former talk show Homeboy. The guesting paved the way for the young swimmer, who represented the country in the SEA Games and 2006 Asian Games, to enter the world of commercial modeling and show business. Enchong earned his first major role in a drama series as Nico Legaspi in the Philippine adaptation of hit koreanovela, My Girl. This was followed by a lead role in the soap Katorse, where he was first paired with Erich Gonzales. Their team up led to a few more TV dramas including Tanging Yaman, Magkaribal, and the Philippine remake of the Mexican novela Maria La Del Barrio. The couple also shared screen time in the films I Do, Paano Ko Sasabihin? and Once A Princess. Enchong also played major roles in the movies Sa ‘Yo Lamang, Four Sisters and A Wedding, Tuhog, Call Center Girl, The Reunion and I Love You To Death. In TV, he has also appeared in the teleserye Ina, Kapatid, Anak and Muling Buksan Ang Puso as well as the designated “Homeboy” in Pinoy Big Brother 737, where he was tasked to report the juicy news from inside the Big Brother House.
