Crush ng Bayan Atom Araullo is no stranger to television. He has been in broadcasting since childhood, eventually gracing TV screens as part of the ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs team later on. This Kapamilya reporter has various news programs under his belt, such as "TV Patrol" and "Bandila," as well as the morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" and the informative docu-news magazine program "Red Alert," where he educates viewers on how to survive emergency situations. In 2014, he was awarded "Best Documentary Program Host" at the 28th PMPC Star Awards for TV. This seasoned journalist graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics. A model student, Atom as also involved in various extra-curricular activities during his college years: he was a member of the League of Filipino Students (LFS), chairperson of the Student Alliance for the Advancement of Democratic Rights - UP (STAND-UP), editor-in-chief of the College of Science publication Siyensya. He was also elected as a councilor at the UP Diliman Student Council in 2003, where he garnered the highest number of votes. Atom Araullo is also passionate about sports. An accomplished triathlete during his teen years, he has also dabbled in soccer, tennis, volleyball, taekwondo, platform diving, mountaineering and underwater diving.
