Before Eric Nicolas’ face became familiar to the Filipino viewers, he was an animator for Slam Dunk, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z and other Japanese shows aired in the Philippines. But his natural comedic talent paved new grounds for the gifted animator, leading him to the field of entertainment as a host in a comedy bar where he was soon discovered by Willie Revillame. The former ABS-CBN host immediately took him in as an audience jester for his noontime show Wowowee. This was followed by similar gigs in Happy Yipee Yehey, Bet on Your Baby, ASAP 20 and The Voice of the Philippines. In 2015, Eric became one of the contenders in the Philippine franchise of the popular Spanish impersonation competition Your Face Sounds Familiar, where he gained the title “Komikero ng Masa.” He is now part of the sitcom Home Sweetie Home and regularly appears on the “Eh Kasi Lalaki” segment in the daily morning show, Umagang kay Ganda.
