Veteran journalist Henry-Omaga Diaz has been a staple in Philippine broadcast journalism. He started his career as a news writer for Radio Veritas, eventually moving on to television with the Kapamilya network and expanding his horizons abroad with The Filipino Channel (TFC). Henry Omaga-Diaz became part of several notable ABS-CBN news programs, such as "The Correspondents," "TV Patrol", "TVPatrol Weekend," "Magandang Gabi Bayan," "Bandila," "XXX: Ekslusibong, Explosibong, Expose," "Krusada," and "Bilis Balita." For his noteworthy dedication and contributions to the industry, Henry Omaga-Diaz has been given several awards celebrating his exceptional career in broadcast journalism. This proud Kapamilya member has won several accolades, including "Outstanding TV News Reporter" at the 17th awards ceremony of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) and "Excellence in Broadcast Journalism" from The Federation of Associations of Private Schools and Administrators (FAPSA), among many others. A familiar face on local television, Henry Omaga-Diaz has moved on to foreign shores, as he now delivers fresh and informative stories to our Kapamilyas abroad. A fixture in local news programs, this familiar face keeps our kababayans updated as a member of TFC family through “Balitang Global.” At present, Henry Omaga-Diaz is the resident news anchor of the TFC news program, “Balitang Global,” hosting alongside Doris Bigornia.
