Ogie Alcasid’s first single as a recording artist, entitled Nandito Ako, catapulted him to fame and sealed his continuous success in Philippine show business. He has since recorded 23 albums, including his most recent release Ikaw Ang Buhay Ko, and currently sits as the President of the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM). He first ventured into acting in the film Feel na Feel. This was followed by the hit comedies Tiny Terrestrial: The Tiny Professors, Pitong Gamol, Manolo en Michelle with his former wife Michelle Van Eimerren, Hapi Together, OMG (Oh, My Girl!) with Judy Ann Santos, the musical I Do Bidoo Bidoo, and Raketeros. Ogie has also established a long career in television, starting with the comedy show Small Brothers with Janno Gibbs in 1992. He also appeared in the sitcom Mana Mana, hosted the game show Game na Game Na! and became one of the judges for the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment on It’s Showtime. He is currently a member of the jury in the celebrity impersonation competition Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids.
