Matteo Guidicelli has been a driven achiever since he was a young boy in Cebu. Before he even entered show business, Matteo has already made a name in the national Karting scene, where he has been hailed three times as Karter of the Year. After taking an interest in acting, he enrolled himself in workshops at the New York Academy and took theater courses at Brent International School. He has also attended Columbia University for two years, taking up Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts in the field of musical theater. Matteo joined the fourth season of the teenage sitcom Gokada Go in 2007 and was soon tapped to play supporting roles in the action fantasy show Kung Fu Kids and the drama series Ligaw Na Bulaklak. His first major role came in 2010 when he was asked to play the lead characters’ love interest in Agua Bendita. This was followed by other major roles in the hit series My Binondo Girl, Galema, Anak Ni Zuma, Inday Bote, and Single/Single. Matteo made a debut in the big screen as one of the cast in the romantic comedy Catch Me, I’m In Love and played one of the leads in Somebody to Love and My Cactus Heart. He has since bagged the Best Actor trophy for the movie Saturday Chills at the Cinema One Originals and released his own album, self-titled Matteo Guidicelli, under Star Records. Matteo was recently seen playing an Italian kontrabida in the drama series Dolce Amore and is regularly seen as a host and performer in ASAP.
