Celebrity Info

Birthday: May 23, 1984
Birthplace: Ohio, USA

Sam Milby first became a household name when he entered the first edition of Pinoy Big Brother as a housemate in 2005. While he wasn’t able to bag the grand prize, his large following instantly earned him a spot in local show business upon his exit from the PBB house. He immediately made his film debut as one of the leads in the film Close To You, alongside the popular loveteam of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo; released his self-titled album, Sam Milby, under Star Records; and became one of the featured artists in the very succesful Hearthrobs concert staged at the Music Museum. He has since released three more albums entitled A Little Too Perfect, Love Duets and Be Mine and has staged his own solo concert, Sam Milby: Rockoustic Hearthrob, at the Aliw Theater. Sam’s heartrob image also made him one of local show business’ most bankable leading men. His widely popular love team with Toni Gonzaga resulted to the big screen hit You Are The One, for which he bagged the Prince of Philippine Movies award from the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards. This was followed by three more blockbuster team ups in You Got Me, My Big Love, and Ang Tanging Pamilya: A Marry Go Round. Sam was also paired with Anne Curtis in the television dramas Maging Sino Ka Man, Dyosa and Mars Ravelo’s Dyesebel as well as in the big-screen rom-coms Babe, I Love You and The Gifted; Bea Alonzo in And I Love You So; KC Concepcion in Forever And A Day; and Jennylyn Mercado in The Prenup. He is currently seen as a regular host and performer in ASAP, and as Julia Montes’ leading man in the drama series Doble Kara.
